說起LA ISLA BONITA，我們就會想起這樣兩位世界級的歌手Madonna 和 Alizée，這樣的經典原唱和翻唱已經深深印在了人們的腦海裏，其他人再翻唱都會變得遜色，況且像我這樣一個業餘歌手去翻唱，更不會被看好。

Madonna
Madonna is an American recording artist, actress and entrepreneur. She moved to New York City in 1977 to pursue a career in modern dance. After performing in the music groups Breakfast Club and Emmy, she released her debut album in 1983. She followed it with a series of albums in which she found immense popularity. Throughout her career, many of her songs have hit number one on the record charts, including "Like a Virgin", "Papa Don't Preach", "Like a Prayer", "Vogue", "Frozen", "Music", "Hung Up", and "4 Minutes".
Her career was further enhanced by film appearances that began in 1979. She won critical acclaim and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her role in Evita (1996). Madonna's other ventures include being a fashion designer, children's book author, film director and producer.
Madonna has sold more than 300 million records worldwide and is recognized as the world's top-selling female recording artist of all time by the Guinness World Records. In 2008, Billboard magazine ranked Madonna at number two, behind only The Beatles, on the Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists, making her the most successful solo artist in the history of the Billboard chart. She was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the same year.
Alizée
Alizée Jacotey is a French singer, known professionally by her Given name Alizée. She was discovered by Mylène Farmer, following her winning performance in the talent show, Graines de Star，in 1999. Alizée wanted to attend that talent show as a dancer. She has been trained as a dancer since she was 3 years ago and became professional dancer. But that talent show did not have solo dance category, Alizée had to compete as a singer instead. She won the competition and her music career after that. Alizée entered the music business in 2000. She has since released four studio albums. Alizée became the highest selling female French singer in 2001.The most successful single "Moi... Lolita" reached number one in several countries in Europe and East Asia.
LA ISLA BONITA (The Beautiful Island) 原來麥姐是詞作者
The music of LA ISLA BONITA (The Beautiful Island) was Written by Patrick Leonard and Bruce Gaitsch. Patrick offered this music first to Michael Jackson. But he turned it down. So the track was given to Madonna who wrote the lyrics. Madonna’s "La Isla Bonita" and another song “True Blue" became two top-five singles in over 28 countries worldwide, an unprecedented achievement at the time. With that popularity of the song, I wonder if MJ had ever regretted to turn down this song. In March 2008, Alizée visited Mexico in a short promotional tour. She covered Madonna’s "La Isla Bonita". It has gone on to become Alizée's first top ten on the airplay chart. This is the most successful cover song done by Alizée.
