It has now been more than a week since Russia invaded Ukraine. At this stage, early explanations are no longer sufficient and analysts need to ask the big question: Is the Russian Air Force Actually Incapable of Complex Air Operations? *****aXrwfBI69Y #Ukraine #Russia

This is why so many Russian "advanced" aircraft are getting shot down.

They have no precision guided munitions on their aircraft, so they're having to fly much lower to achieve any degree of accuracy in their bombing runs. *****71H8oAKgT4
And this bodes extremely poorly for the Russian assault on Kyiv - in order to effectively use close air support in an urban environment you either a) need PGMs or b) you need to fly low (and risk getting shot down).

Unless they're keeping PGMs in reserve, they're in trouble.
