It is interesting to read again the tale story 'The Emperor's New Clothes' by Hans Christian Andersen. I do not intend to urge you linking the current events to this facinating story published long ago. Below is the story posted the website in PDF.

Without a solid physical economy, how can 

you have a real military power? This is the point why this affair tale is posted here to raise the peoples' attention. 
Some people have noticed this severe problem, starting to worry about the situation.
