我理解比較好的MDPHD都進了MST 的funding list,但時間安排比較固定，2Y 醫學院，4年PHD，然後再2Y醫學院。上次有個不同的安排，問了一下是Non MSTP的，時間安排比較靈活。
MSTP好像都有stipend，一進那個program，學費，保險等都免了之後給40-50K，好像看各地的生活成本，NYC，SF，Boston等地第一年基本都跟50K聯係上了。
有不少MSTP的mdphd是兩個機構合辦的，譬如哈佛是和MIT，MD肯定是哈佛的，PHD可以在哈佛和MIT之間選，石溪大學有醫學院，和冷泉港合辦，PHD可以選冷泉港，還有一個tri-i, MD肯定康奈爾那個weill, PHD 可以weill, 洛克菲勒大學或那個癌症研究中心之間選。
至於錄取，聽說的MSTP基本都是單獨的pool，如果看cycletrack上，時間線和MD only 完全不同。MSTP更多看重research方麵的經驗和commitment，不那麽看著clinical經驗，多標MCAT和GPA也更看重些。有聽說申MSTP被拒但被告知把申請人放進MD only 池子裏的，一個top學校。
感覺top的幾個，Harvard-MIT, JHU, Stanford, UCSF-berkeley, PENN, 後麵跟著另外幾個有醫學院的藤和WASHU，DUKE啥的。
