據外電報道，美國東部時間5日早上6點21分(北京時間18時21分)，美國“發現號”宇宙飛船順利發射升空，將攜帶7名宇航員前往國際空間站。

據報道，此次“發現號”除載有4名男性宇航員外，還攜帶有3名女性宇航員，將在國際空間站與1名女性宇航員會合，創造史上上太空的女性宇航員人數最多的紀錄，達到4人。

報道稱，4男3女共7名航天員將在太空中停留13天，為國際空間站運輸大型零件以及補給品，此外還將進行科研任務。
