有個有升學經驗的大學生幫忙看文書，修改college essays就是不一樣

老大在T3（HMS之一），當時自己搞申請，沒請人。去年又幫了她的朋友們修改文書進了藤和LAC文理學院，和頂級科研夏校。她讀理科專業，現在有學生請她修改文書，我和她說，家長喜歡請讀文科的學生看文書，她說：what i think people get wrong is finding someone who’s in english when it’s actually better for someone who understands the technical stem stuff and how to properly curate that to AOs. 我覺得挺有道理的。

 

今年輪到老二申請，幫看文書。剛看了她給的意見，是我沒考慮到的點，挺好的。其中一個建議如下：

i will ask a few questions about the overall package in case you may have overlooked it

- are there any extracurriculars or awards not explained in any of these essays or the common app essay? we want to make sure we maximize the number of layers that we illustrate through these essays to AOs. 

- similarly, are there any extracurriculars or awards that overlap between these essays and the common app essay?
