Then that's a bit tricky!:) -- Just as you pointed it out:).

However, can we look at things positively?:) The good news is: nobody (of those in charge of your unemployment benefits) will check whether you have to leave US or not, since that's the job of the Federal gov., not the state gov., and these two things are governed by different law and by-laws too. So it means -- practically: the unemployment should still pay you, given that you satisfy either of the two conditions.

However, again:), we understand you won't be able to continue to reside in the state where you used to reside:). Can we still look at this in a positive way? -- that's the thing which only matters where the check should be mailed to you, why don't you have your roommate/landlord/caretaker in the same address pick up the check mailed from the state and mail it to you? (Are dollars forbidden in your country?)
