這個問題和其他同類問題比如“請告訴我你以前碰到的難題,你是怎麽解決的?”是同一類判斷candidate的解決問題能力的問題。問的人是想知道候選人的分析解決問題的能力以及過去的經驗。回答這種問題通常會給A,B,C不同的評分。A. Candidate 可以馬上舉例譯細表述一個難題來龍去脈,解決方案impressive, 並給出為什麽選擇這個解決方案。麵試官這時心裏也是在衡量如果這個問題他自己來解決,可能還沒candidate做得更好。B。candidate presented a simple problem, and have a so so solution, not impressive, but when dig deeper, you can see that work is reaaly what the candidate did before. C. Donot know what to say, or say a lot of non-sense stuff. 麵試官可能得出結論這個人涉世末深,經驗不足,或不夠smart。

So the moral of the story is when going for an interview, you need to prepare at least 2 to 3 such situation/problem stories happened in your past work experience to support your resume.
