請教8老師：關於過期的 re-entry permit 能否入境美國？

re-entry permit 過期，能否買張機票，憑綠卡進入美國？被當場遣返的幾率有多大？

存僥幸心理，入境官不計前嫌大發慈悲，綠卡就又有效了，我一個朋友的父母就這麽幹的，當時寫了一封誠懇的信給入境官，解釋疫情造成的 re-entry permit 過期
