我(Canadian)原本是在美國境內申請的E2 status 的延期，但還在pending， 因母親病重回國探親，再入境美國時可以在美國的機場比如達拉斯機場移民局遞交E2的延期申請嗎？
他們如果不受理，我該怎麼辦？謝謝！
-The pending E2 status extension application is irrelevant to your return from China though your leaving does not affect the pending E2 extension application validity.
Unless you have a valid E2 visa stamp on your passport, the US Customs officer at the port of entry at Dallas Airport will not allow you to enter US as E2 status/worker.
If you do not have a valid E2 visa on your passport, there are two choices for you:
1. Apply for E2 visa in the US Embassy/Consulate in China and use it to enter US. If your pending E2 extension is approved during your travel in China, then your new E2 I-94 you get when you use the new E2 visa stamp to enter US will replace the your E2 extension I-94 within US. If your pending E2 extension is approved after you reenter US using the new vE2 visa stamp, then your extension E2 I-94 will replace the E2 I-94 you get at the port of entry using the E2 visa stamp.
2. Get the B2 status/I-94 at the Dallas Airport to enter US as a tourist, but you cannot work until your pending E2 extension application is approved. If your pending E2 extension is approved during your travel in China and you get the B2 I-94 to enter US, then your E2 extension approval will be void.
