我寫信是想谘詢一下關於我母親為我弟弟申請移民美國的問題。我母親現年68歲，於2015年獲得了綠卡。最近，她想申請美國國籍，以便為我的已婚多年的弟弟申請美國移民。

雖然我自己是美國公民，今年已經為我弟弟申請了美國移民，但我聽說排期特別漫長，因此我想讓我的母親也為弟弟申請移民。然而，我母親在美國從未工作過，是我幫她辦理的綠卡，因此我想知道她是否有資格為我弟弟辦理美國移民。

-If your mother gets the US citizenship, she can sponsor your brother to immigrate to US, but you needs to be the joint sponsor to provide the financial support when the priority date is current.

此外，我想了解父母為已婚子女申請美國移民的排期有多長。

-It takes more that 10 years. Normally the 排期 sponsored by your mother for your brother is shorter about 1 to 2 years than the 排期 sponsored by you for your brother, not very significant.

我們這種情況是否有必要再讓我母親為弟弟辦理移民？
