Was the appointment due yet? If no, just explain why you cannot attend the interview and send the explanation and appointment notice back to the USCIS Field Office where the interrview will take place. If the appointment was due, you need to contact USCIS for the reschedule and if neccessay, you may need to visit the USCIS Field Office. Anyway, call USCIS first to see what they suggest.
