if you want your husband to hold his 485 until aug 16

i'm not sure if your eb is labor based or labor certificate exempt case.

if he's applying niw or eb1, and you want your hu*****and to hold his 485 until aug 16, he still needs to file at least 140 by July 31 to set up a July priority date.
