485 pending (through spouse), another 485 from my side, any dis

one 485 pending (through spouse), another 485 from my side, any disadvantage?

There are some post asking question about second 485 while first 485 through spouse is pending.

We know by doing this way, it looks "safe". But is there any disadvantage?
