請教8老師, 我來美國前在加拿大居住多年, 是加拿大公民. 填 I-140表有兩個困惑.
一是想確認一下, Part 3, item 9, 10, Country of citizenship, Country of nationality, citizenship指國籍沒疑問,但我覺得兩者都是指國籍, 不知USCIS本意是什麽,有不同嗎?
-In the old vervion of Form I-140, this Question is "Country of Citizenship/Nationality", but now USCIS separate this question to two, and it seems they think these two are somewhat different. So, you may just put "Canada" for Country of Citizenship, and put "China" for Country of Nationality.
我也看了護照,護照上用了nationality這個詞做為國籍一項.但是我在網上查citizenship和nationality的區別,發現有說nationality更側重血緣關係的淵源地,就有些發暈了.真有區別嗎? 我是填China還是Canada?
二是 Part 4, item 2, 3, 4, 我第二項填加拿大英文地址, 第二項我填中文姓名, 第三項怎麽填? 因為我曾經的加拿大地址是英文地址, 難道要翻譯成中文填? 還是第三項空著不填?
