謝謝8老師迅速回複。如果孩子以B2的身份繼續在原來的公立學校讀書，會對移民造成什麽樣的影響？領事處理（CP）麵試時一般會問小孩B2時還在讀書的問題嗎？因為這時候換學校對孩子申請大學影響太大。

-Techincally, your kid cannot study in the school as a B2 holder, but he can change his status to F-1 to study in the public high school for up to one year (he may need to pay the tuition). Is your kid a Canada citizen? If yes, he may ask the school to issue the I-20 to him and then, he can go to the US-Canada border to change his current status (H-4?) to F-1 and come back to study. If he is not a Canada citizen, he needs to file I-539 within US to change his current status to F-1 (this takes a long time, so not good choice) or go to the US Consulate in Canada to apply for the F-1 visa to come back.
