請問一下H1B transfer 的問題。 現在做合同工， 是OPT，抽簽抽到了， 正在申請H1B， 申請到的話 10月一日生效。 雇主想給我轉成正式的職位，但不願意等到10月一號。請問在我H1B批準後，但生效之前我可以轉這個H1B到雇主嗎。

-Yes. You do Not have a problem to work for the employer (H-1 sponsor) using your OPT even if the OPT will expire before Oct. 1 (you are qualifed for Cap-Gap benefit in this case). Please contact the International Student Ofice at your school if you will work for the H1 sponsor before Oct. 1 so that they can update your employment information in SEVIS.
