8老師您好，我想請教一個問題，我現在是L1b身份，在美國已經是第四年了中間延期了一次。我今年H1b沒有抽中。現在我的綠卡的進度是遞交了140表。我想問一下明年繼續h1b抽簽如果抽到H1b的話是否我可以一直在美國工作直到拿到綠卡

 

還是說隻能再多工作一年因為H1b是六年，L1b是五年，L1b的工作時間要從H1b裏減去。

-Right. L1B + H-1B = 6 years. But if you have the approved I-140, then you can extend your H-1B beyond the 6-year limit until you get the green card. So, just change your L1B to H-1B, then use the approved I-140 to extend your H-1B beyond the 6-year limit. If the I-140 is still pending when you get the H-1B, then you may use premium processing to get the I-140 approved, then extend your H-1B.
