尊敬的8老師：您好！

我的I-485 Application還在Pending狀態，I-765(EAD)和I-131(AP)還沒批下來。再過半年我的H1B就6年到期了，我正在聯係律師去申請H1B續簽。我的律師告訴我，EAD和AP也要一起Renew，給我寄來的I-765表格上選了1.c. Renewal of my permission to accept employment. (Attach a copy of your previous employment authorization document.) 這真把我搞糊塗了，真的需要renew EAD and AP嗎？我的EAD/AP還沒批下來，怎麽就可以renew呢？

請問老師，我的律師說的對還是錯？為什麽續簽H1B要我申請renew EAD/AP?

-It seems your lawyer was confused or probbaly the lawyer just wants more money. You need to wait for the EAD/AP approval, not file a new EAD/AP application now. Also, H-1 extension is irrelevant to the AP/EAD application.  Just remind the lawyer that your EAD and AP applications are still pending.
