我原先為J-1 status，上周剛剛獲得美國國務院批準的J-1 waiver approval，現在正準備著手申請H1B， 我6月中旬想要回國參加一個重要的學術會議，但6月中旬前我是不可能拿到H1B的，不知道各位老師有沒有什麽好的建議或者方法讓我可以回國參加這個會議？謝謝

-If you go to China, you only can apply for the H-1 visa to come back (ask your employer to use premium processing to get it approved within 15 days, and then mail the approval notice to you). No more J-1 visa.  By the way, you need to receive the J-1 waiver approval from USCIS for the H-1B petition, not the one from the Department of State. So, you still need to wait for a while.
