正在申請由H4轉F1，有個疑問，填寫I539表中Part3 Processing Information

先生（H1B簽證）和我（H4簽證）於2013年12月首次入境美國，我現有的H4簽證將於SEP/08/2016到期，正在申請的F1填寫的入學時間是JUN/19/2016。

請問下列對1.a問題的兩種理解哪個正確？

對1.a的理解一：詢問我“現有簽證”或“正要申請的簽證”是否需要延期。因現有的簽證尚未過期，1.a是該留空的；但考慮到萬一我的F1未批下之前，我先生被辭退之日起我的H4簽證也同時失效，鑒於此，1.a我是否填上申請入學的前一天即JUN/18/2016會更好？

對1.a的理解二：詢問我“現有簽證”或“正要申請的簽證”需要覆蓋到什麽時間。那就是填寫我將要讀的課程的完成時間，即兩年之後的JUN/19/2018.

另，什麽情況下需要勾選1.b？

-Just like your case, change of status to F-1 (from H-4 to F-1 in your case), and F-1 I-94 duration is "D/S". "D/S" means the I-94 has no specific term (not like yoru H-4 which expires on 9/8/2016), so as long as your keep your F-1 status, you can stay in US. F-1 status normally ends when your I-20 expires or you graduate, whichever is earlier.

So, you need to select "1.b".
