我兒子的TD 隻有兩天有效期了！因為我的TN 隻有兩天了， 雖然政府記錄的I-94 有效期比2天長， 但TN 失效（TN 被H1取代）， TD 就自動失效。
我們的理解：不能再美國非法居留， 兩天之內沒法辦成H4了， 最好的可能是：隻能是在TD 到期前把TD 轉H4 的文件寄出， 是嗎？
-USCIS has to receive the I-539 change of status application before the TD I-94 expires.
另外， 還有沒有可能， 我們9月30日專門出境， 10月1日從墨西哥入境， 我帶著H1，邊境會不會給我兒子H4?
-It should have no problem if you have received your H-1 approval notice..
或者還有沒有其他更好的辦法把TD 轉成H4, TD 轉H4必須雇主辦嗎？
-No. Irrelevant to the employer.
還是我們自己也可以填表辦？
-Yes, file I-539. But if your H-1 has be effective, then your child TD is void even if his I-94 does not expire yet. So, the best choice is that you and he go to the border to get the H-4 status for him.
