$14.3 billion offer for PARA

• Byron Allen has offered $14.3 billion for Paramount Global, the latest effort to acquire major media assets by Allen, a former stand-up comedian and actor who has made several billion-dollar bids in recent years to build up his media firm, including proposals for the Denver Broncos, ABC’s television network and other Paramount-owned channels.
