1 . size of house. - 1200sqt

2. size of garage - around 350 sqt

3. gas hot water or or electric hot water - electric

4. how far is the water heater from the house. - Garage is attached to the house. Water heater is inside the garage but close to the external wall (block wall). Roughly 15 feet away from the connecting door  

5. where does the water line goes to and from the water heater. - only saw main to the heater so I assume water lines go underground
