install water filtering under sink

This is the second time installing, all as planned.
Over the years, we’ve been using the pitch size water filtering for drinking water, lately lp decided to use a electric filter that we constantly needed to refill w occasional water overspill, so I was researching and lp decided on this reverse oasis water filtering, which drains water to sewer as part of process, not ideal, but that’s what she likes.
So off we go w the installation. First, connect to existing water in line. glad the fitting works. Second, poke a hole in the drain pipe before the p trap and it goes well. Then connect all the tiny 1/8” plastic tubing. There came my “supervisor”Rodney and he decided to chew on the tubing that I found out only after I turned on water and saw the dripping, ended up having to buy a set of tubing and wait for a few days for parts.

The system happily ran and I tasted no difference. lp tasted w one from the new system and another from the electric water filter. blindly and no mistakenly she likes the new one.

So there we have it.
