I am currently try to cancel a biz plat, as the annual fees were just got posted in January, normally if the card is canceled within 30 days after the annual fees are posted, AMEX will issue a full refund, so for this card, I opened December 2023, got 200$ United credits + $200 Dell credits 2023, got 200 United + $400 Dell credits + 120$ cell phone credits for 2024, $200 United + $200 Dell for 2025, plus 200k points signup, so in theory, I got $4500 out of a one time$695 annual fee, of course, this is an extreme case as 1 annual fee across 3 physical years.
