in Texas, solar panels can send excess electricity back to the power grid through a process called "net metering" or "solar buyback," allowing homeowners to receive credits on their electricity bill for the extra power they produce and send back to their utility company; essentially selling their unused solar energy back to the grid. 

We saved at least half e bill, we paid over $400 before, reduced to $180 now.
