請教一個報稅問題，配偶去年有點臨工隻掙了幾千，為了掙夠4個點的

social security credit, 一個點一千多，一共要6、7千。想問兩個問題：

1，這個6、7千是gross income 還是 net income? google 上說是gross income. 

2, 如果配偶不掙這個social security credits 退休後照樣拿我的一半（chatgpt如是說），那麽是不是不如不報？
