現在父母打算回國，有幾個問題想再次請教各位老師：
⑴父母打算9月中回國，3月初再來美國，約5個多月。是否持綠卡和護照即可合法地出入境？
-Yes.
還是需要其實的文件？
⑵有一說綠卡持有者每年要在美國至少居留6個月，是這樣嗎？怎麽計算的呢？
-The principle is that the green card is used for live in US permenantly, not used as border-crossing card. So, it is fine occasionally to travel and stay outside US for less than one year, but not travel too often.
⑶需要給他們申請social security number嗎？
-Yes.
⑷他們需要報稅嗎？父母都年過70，已退休，在美無工作，與我同住。
-Had better do that.
