Sexton's older child, Jed, is a Harvard graduate, an actor, and math teacher; in 2021, he entered law school and works on pro bono legal matters.[154] He is married to Danielle DeCrette, a former administrative employee at the New York University School of Law.[155] They have three daughters: Julia, Ava, and Natalie. Sexton's younger child is Katherine Lodgen Sexton, a graduate of Yale and the NYU School of Law.[156] She is married to Matt Koons; they have one child, Ellis.[157]
