朋友和兒子持投資移民綠卡，每半年來幾個星期，最近這次返回時在美國機場登機口兒子被查。警察說他可能不需要綠卡了，隨後叫來一名工作人員將他的綠卡信息輸入到像手機一樣的設備裏，之後把綠卡還給他。他下一步該這麽做？會有什麽麻煩？衷心感謝幫助！

Anyway, his green card is still valid, but he had better apply for the reentry permit to travel to China, otherwise his green card will be taken away and cancelled at the next time travel. Please remember, the green card is used to live US permanently, not just use as a crossing-border card.
