EB1沒戲。現在看起來，EB3比EB2快多了，咋預計未來的走勢？
還有，一旦開始申請，就不能再有promote的機會了？我們公司好像有這樣的先例，是這樣的嗎？我的老板說那就先不急，等先看看年底前能不能為我爭取到promotion的機會，如果能的話，等明年3月份新職稱正式生效後再開始進入綠卡的申請程序。
-It does not matter when your employer file the I-140 for you. Because the position for PERM/I-140 is a future position, it is irrelevant to your current position or promotion (it is for you to work after you get the green card at this position, not now). Your employer needs to advertise this new position (either the same one as your current position or the one you will be promoted to), then make new recruitment, file PERM and I-140. After you get the green card, you can work at that position. Whether it is EB2 or EB3 depends on the requirement of that position. By the way, no one can predict what will happen in EB2 or EB3 排期. So, discuss it with your employer/lawyer and file the PERM/I-140 the sooner, the better.
