我孩子去年11月份遞交了H4轉換F1申請，馬上五個月了還是pengding狀態，現在我的NIW排期到了，需要遞交485了，聽說一旦遞交了485如果轉換簽證，則孩子就不能在作為我的dependent拿綠卡了？是這樣的嗎？
-Not true. As long as your child CSPA age is less than 21, he/she can file I-485 as your derivative. Of course, he/she has to have a valid status. His/her status is still H-4 during the F-1 pending before your I-485 is approved if your status is H-1 now.


我們該怎麽辦呢？難道隻能等著直到孩子的簽證轉換完畢？


還是可以用孩子H4轉換F1申請的收據來遞交485？
-My suggest to you is your child had better file I-485 together with you now as the H-4 holder in case the 排期倒退.
