I got a mechanical engineering master degree first, and after that got a second bachelor degree in computer science. After graduation in computer science, I work as software engineer until now (more than 8 years). With my previous employer, I got EB2 I-140 approval with job title Manufacturing Applications Engineer using my master degree of mechanical engineering (my job is developing software for manufacturing automation). I am a software engineer with my current employer. My question is: Do I use Master degree (mechanical) + 2 years software working experience OR Bachelor degree (computer science) + 5 years software working experience to apply for EB2 with my current employer? Which one is better?
-Either one is OK, depends on the job responsibilities and requirements. Discuss this with your employer and lawyer carefully.
