I am working on my application for EB-1A. I am wondering if a permanent position in the U.S. will be helpful for the EB-1A petition.
-I think it is helpful.

If so, perhaps I should ask the HR person to certify that I have a permanent position?
-Not need HR, but you had better ask your supervisor (e.g. Department Chair or Dean) to write a recommendation which indicates your abilities/qualification, achievements, your position title and duties, etc..
