In June 2024, while criticizing children's entertainer Ms. Rachel (who quoted "love your neighbor" from Leviticus 19 to support Pride Month), he explicitly referenced Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13—Bible verses that condemn male same-sex relations as an "abomination" punishable by death (often interpreted as stoning). Kirk paraphrased the passage as: "Thou shalt not lay with another man as with a woman; it is an abomination... [punishable by] stoning to death." He then added: "The chapter before affirms God’s perfect law when it comes to sexual matters."
