Nikki Haley needs to distinguish her policies from Donald Trump on 1) Age; 2) Women's abortion rights; 3)Gaza war and etc in order to win the republican primary.
At this stage, what Nikki Haley needs to do is to distinguish her policies from Donald Trump. For example, she should keep pushing the idea of two 80-year old senile (Trump & Biden) competing to be the head of the state vs the young age of Nikki Haley. Because American culture worships youth and strength, which is opposite of Chinese culture. This works to turn voters away from Joe Biden and it will work the same way on Trump too.
2) Nikki needs to support women's abortion rights and make it in contrary to Donald Trump's stance. She needs to force Donal Trump to show his card on abortion issue in order to win republican women's votes. Women's abortion right is not just strategy but simply the right thing to do.
3)Nikki needs to be tough on immigration and deportation, like Donald Trump, but via legal measures, not via Trump’s wall.
4)Nikki needs to stay neutral/fair on Gaza war, not to simply cuddle Israel. She needs to force Donald Trump to show his stance on this issue to distinguish herself from Trump too.
All in all, Nikki Haley should distinguish some of her policies from Donald Trump in order to win voters, not by agreeing with all Donald Trump's policies. Or else, why should voters vote for you rather than Donald Trump if all of your policies are from Trump’s?
