在dd-wert路由器上設VPN，好多年前搞的，這是當時的記錄。

DD-WRT router VPN (PPTP)setup Motorola WR850G dd-wrt sp24 sp1 Standard version
1.Login router,go to the "Services" and set PPTP server to active, save the changes,
2.then set the IP of router (192.168.1.1) for the server IP,
3.under Client IP(s) set a range for connections. (192.168.1.200-210 for example of a ten client set up) 別用DHCP Server用的IP地址(在setup-Basic setup-DHCP處)。我的DHCP Server用的IP地址：start :192.168.1.100,Maximum DHCP Users:50,
4.Under Chap Secret put in username * password * 格式: "用戶名 * 密碼 *" (*號前有一個空格) Use no capital letters. Also avoid using the # character since this breaks pptp. (This also applies to the router administration password that is included by default in the password file for pptpd.)

Client PC 設置
Windows Vista Ultimate上的設置：
設置
Control Panel－Network and Sharing Center－Set up a connection or network - Connect to a workplace (set up a dial-up or VPN connection to your workplace)- next- Create a new connection - Use my Internet connection (VPN)- 在Internet address內，將IP地址如69.182.116.247填入。在destination name 內填入一個名字，如 Home. - next - Finish.

在任務欄右鍵點網絡圖標- connect to a network - Dial up and VPN - 右鍵點VPN connection->Properties->Options->PPP Settings->Chose "Negotiate multi-link for single-link connections ->OK (如不作這一選項，則連不上Internet, 在Control Panel－Network and Sharing Center下顯示“This computer 與Multiple networks連通，Multiple networks與Internet沒連通而顯示一個“Ｘ”，但這時用鼠標左鍵點一下這個“Ｘ”也可連通。）在Windows XP裏，"Negotiate multi-link for single-link connections"這個選項在Properties->Networking->Settings裏。

連接
在任務欄右鍵點網絡圖標- connect to a network - Dial up and VPN - 雙擊 VPN connection (如要更改IP地址，則右鍵點VPN connection->Properties->General,把新地址填入,我的Internet不是固定IP,所以IP變化後要在這裏改一下IP地址）- 輸入用戶名/密碼進行連接。

從外部internet與家裏的網絡建立連接後，基本就和在家裏共享網絡一樣了，比方輸入192.168.1.1進入router,但進入家裏其它電腦的共享文件夾或做Remote Desktop Connection遠程控製時不能用電腦名進行連接，而要用電腦的IP地址如192.168.1.123進行連接。
