OBiHai 紙上談兵：緊急電話911

免費電話雖好，有時家裏領導還是不放心。家裏有老人、孩子，萬一有急事，這免費電話能打911嗎？

在美國、加拿大，緊急電話911服務還真沒有免費的。FCC規定所有電話公司都要提供911服務，而這費用（$1.50/月 911 cost recovery fee）就由用戶承擔了。GV還算不上電話公司，所以用戶不用付這$1.50/月的費用。

領導不放心，這每月$1.50是一定要付的。上網找了找，CallCentric 有這項服務。具體搗鼓程序：

1．到CallCentric 申請個“Pay Per Call”賬戶，付幾塊錢，然後填911服務的表格（一定要仔細檢查）；

2．到OBiHai，進入自己賬戶，edit 你的Obi100/Obi110，在Configure Voice Servides下，edit Service Provider 2（假定Service Provider 1已經是Google Voice），填上你CallCentric的聯接信息，完成後應見到“Connected”；

3．進入OBi Expert Configuration，在Outbound Settings下，有個Phone OutboundCallRout，裏麵有很多一對一對的花括號“{…}”。這些都稱為”rule”。在最前麵加上你的rule：{911:sp2},{….},…，意思是，見到911號碼，用Service Provider 2打出。

費用：$1.50設置費，然後是每月$1.50。這條線是pay per call，你不打，沒有其他費用。

要不要試一下911？CallCentric 說不用試。你真要試，接通後立即告訴對方這不是緊急事件，接著問一下他們見到的你的地址。

不是為CallCentric作廣告。這$1.50 CallCentric 轉手就上繳政府了，也沒賺錢。

我的看法：隻要領導不反對，這一塊五還是省了吧。充足電的手機可能更可靠。

上述 {911:sp2} 不能把你的GV 號碼傳給911中心。幸好OBiTALK提供caller-id spoofing，CallCentric可把任何caller-id傳出去。具體程序：

1．把 {911:sp2} 改為{(911|18663460222):sp2(4086668888>)}，其中4086668888要換上你的GV號瑪。意思是，見到911或18663460222號碼，用Service Provider 2打出，放上caller-id 4086668888；

2．打電話1-866-346-0222，You will hear an error message then hang up；

3．Open a Trouble Ticket on your Callcentric account asking to get your number(s) verified.  Include within the trouble ticket the numbers you would like added on your account, and the approximate date, time, and time zone you placed the verification calls to the Toll Free number listed above. Once we verify that we have received your calls for the listed numbers we will add those numbers as verified numbers on your account and update your ticket.
