If yes, thinking how much your skill is needed is not going to help.

If not, be clear in your own mind what you want.  And be willing to take your share of the responsibility for the outcome.

Sounds like you are thinking about leaving, but not urgent to the point that they'd shoulder the sole blame, since you don't want to carry any blame (in your own mind.)
