Dear all, I am in the middle of looking for career advancement opportunities and got three onsite interviews lately. I have some gut feelings and would like to seek your opinion on which one you'd suggest to go further, provided they all end up with offers.
Company A: mid sized stable company, nice people (boss, boss' boss, peer), they really really need me, good career opportunity in terms of responsibility & visibility, A level compensation and work-life balance;
Company B: mid sized stable company, regular people (almost all women for boss, boss's boss, peers), they need me, good career opportunity in terms of responsibility, A+ level compensation and A+ work-life balance; voted as best employer;
Company C: small sized and great potential company, need to work extra hours compared to A&B, regular people (Indian boss, Chinese and American peers), they really really need me, very good career opportunity with larger scope of responsibility & higher visibility, A- level compensation and B work-life balance; title is one level up compared to A and B, so I assume total compensation would be very close for the three.
Commute wise C saves 10-20 minutes one way depends on the traffic.
I like the people the most in A, the compensation/benefit the most in B (but A won't offer much less), and the career opportunity in C.
Since I haven't been in the job market for over ten years, I'd like to solicit your input on how to make the selection. Thanks in advance!
