nice, but because of enough local relatives taking you to site-seeing or eat, your experience could be totally different.  Also, at least to me, what hotel you stay or where you end up eating, will affect how you rate your experience.  I like the story, it's what the author experienced first hand and don't take it personally.  "做為華人，孩子居然不懂中文，我認為父母素質很差的。起碼也應該能聽吧" This is absolutely non-sense!!!  There are so many factors to determine how a kid learns Chinese.  Most likely if the parents are well educated and speak fluent English, their kids tend to speak poor Chinese.  Even if what you believe is true, you can't make such stupid statement to the parents. So childish!
