Watching Elephants Fly

Watching Elephants Fly (看大象飛)

Thomas L. Friedman

The cosmic dust created after the Egyptian big bang has yet to completely fall and settle, after which, the causing forces, like the Egyptian women and other major groups, may have another say, and so on, until democracy have coalesced into their new world.

So I agree with you, Mr.Friedman. The world was destroyed and recreated many times over before even our own democracy –an experiment in progress– became what we now have. And with more empowered people, more experiments and tweaks to come, which we may not like, and so on.

Do we care to predict the aftermath of our own active volcano?

(0 bytes) () 01/09/2012 postreply 06:05:23
