From the purpose of life (personal) to the environment (global), Chinese have habitually underestimated Americans' conviction by a large margin.

The biggest advantage of American culture is its inclusiveness. It opens its arm and its heart to everyone that wish to get a better life through hard work. In the past 30 years, how many young Chinese have come to America with nothing but the cloth on their back, and eventually have everything? Can you say the same thing about China/Chinese culture? This is the reason I think China will never surpass US and become the number one world power.
