Try to pump the gas once started running.

My 99 Camry also showed hot car hard to start problem. The sympton: the engine speed can't keep at >600rpm after hot start, then it dies. If you press the gas after start monment then the car can keep running.

It did not happen everytime. It took me sevral months to figureout the fix: celar the IACV.

Now my car didn't have that problem for years.
