請教alaska看極光

i know fairbanks is a very popular place to see northern light, but does any1 know exactly where in fairbanks that you can see northern light?
I am only planning to spend 2 nights in fairbanks, so to increase my chance of seeing the northern light, does it worth to actually pay $200 to take a tour?
