ELON: THE VELOCITY OF IMPROVEMENT OF xAI IS FASTER THAN ANY OTHER COMPANY 

 
“We have a lot of catching up to do relative to companies that have been around for 5 or 10 or 20 years. 

 We're catching up fast. 

I think the velocity of improvement of xAI is faster than any other company out there.
 
  We were just able to install and bring online a massive new training center we're building in Memphis. 
 
There were only 19 days from getting hardware installation to it beginning training.
 
That's the fastest by far that anyone's been able to do. 
 
What we're doing in the Memphis data center is training Grok 3. That'll probably finish training in about 3 or 4 months [by the end of 2024]. 
 
And we're hoping to release Grok 3 by December.
 
Grok 3 should be the most powerful AI in the world at that point.”
