The so-called nitrogen acceleration does not use nitrogen. As a normal engine, 3/4 nitrogen in the air does not improve the power of the engine, because it can neither burn nor support combustion. The gas used in the so-called nitrogen acceleration is actually nitrous oxide (N2O), commonly known as 'laughing gas', which is named for its slightly sweet taste and can make people laugh. It was once used for anesthesia.
