2023年精英中學考試係列 Cambridge Assessment 考題公開
5年級學生申請2023年精英中學7年級：2021年10月19日至11月17日報名, 2022年3月10日參加選拔考試，Cambridge Assessment 出題。

2021年7月9日，第一次Cambridge Assessment出題的精英中學考試準時放榜：考試：Reading(25%)，Mathematical reasoning(25%), Thinking skills(35%), Writing(15%), 學校：English (10%), Mathematics (10%)，分數經過moderated, scaled and weighted, 有點繞，家長看有沒有考到什麽學校就好啦。
2021年4年級學生，英才班考試推遲，11月17日考。
考試選擇題形式，分英文，數學和Thinking skills，題數有變化。考試設計：根據能力選學生，不是考核大綱基本要求。 The test has multiple-choice questions in reading skills, mathematical reasoning skills and thinking skills as well as a test of writing skills. The test is designed to measure ability rather than performance on the curriculum.
5年級學生,該怎麽準備還是要踏踏實實做，重點是邏輯推理和數學應用。The new test will have a greater emphasis on thinking skills, mathematical reasoning and problem solving.

家長應看了政府 2020年12月放出來的Cambridge Assessment 的模擬試卷，英文，數學感覺還好，變化明顯的是Thinking skills。
Thinking skills 題目像這樣：
When Tom told Aida that he was thinking of giving up his hobby of drawing to focus on becoming an engineer, Aida said: “You don’t need to give up a hobby like drawing just because you want to work in engineering. It’s good for you to have hobbies. They help keep you happy and relaxed so you can also study harder.” Which one of these statements, if true, most strengthens Aida’s argument?
A Artistic or creative skills are seen as important skills for engineers to have.
B Tom’s latest school report said that he wasn’t studying hard enough.
C Tom’s school encourages its students to have at least one hobby.
