Does English poetry have “平仄”？What is your answer?

To my surprise， the answer might be “Yes”.

Have you ever heard about stressed syllables?or unstressed syllables？I think they might be equivalent?to “平仄” of Chinese.?

Here is the concept for today: Meter.

Meter is a regular pattern of stressed and unstressed syllables that defines the rhythm of some poetry. These stress patterns are defined in groupings, called?feet, of two or three syllables.
